Mine. Romano x Reader

   His new wife was off greeting and chatting with their guests. To the Prince of Italy, calling her 'his wife' can't fail to make him feel flustered. It took him more than a few days to sink in that his wife--cue the blush--actually felt the same and agreed to the marriage proposal.

   He knew that the moment their eyes made contact, she would be his.

   Indeed, it was weird, one doesn't just simply visit another kingdom and lock eyes with their princess and decides that she was going to spend the rest of eternity with him. However, the two felt connection they simply couldn't brush away.

   Lovino wanted to join her, hold her hand, and rightfully announce his new wife to everyone. Alas, he had the responsibility of accompanying the King of France, her guardian-brother, with idle chat that he was not even paying attention to, until his ears caught on to the last sentence from King Francis.

   "... I thought that her first love was Feliciano, it took me by surprise when the two of you agreed to the marriage contract, Your Highness." As if his obnoxious laughter was the cue, his twin younger brother walked up to Lovino's newly beautiful wife and happily conversed with her.

   Oh, will you look at her? 

   The light illuminating from the giant chandeliers gave her a sort of heavenly glow to the (colour) skin that was not covered by her ball gown. The light also made the jewels on top of her head and her gown sparkle, which increased her illuminating beauty. Her smile was a bonus to him. She adorned the heart-melting smile that had caught him the first day they met at Château de Versailles during her brother's Royal Banquet. 

   (Name) had the most endearing smile on while Feliciano was describing something ecstatically.

   Something inside the young prince irked him enough to abandon Francis and go forth to his wife.


   "Honestly, if I didn't figure out your affection for him, then he'll probably stay quiet for a few years more!"

   "It was a good thing you did, Feli, or I, too, wouldn't said anything about it," (Name) hid her blushing face behind her fan. "Thank you for helping me, by the way, for I am glad."

   (Name) and Lovino's marriage proposal brought forth not only their undying love for each other but the unity of their countries. Also, it stopped her brother from using her to lure in some allied countries. It was such a difficult time being a fille de France who was being treated as a contract for alliances but the Principe di Italia treated her far from being a treaty of Paris.

   "Ve~ it was my pleasure, mia bella cognata. Fratello can get jealous easily. I'm surprised he didn't ask you to marry him on the first day!"

   And speak of the devil, he quickly went in front of (Name) to refrain Feliciano from talking to her.
